Cherry Chapstick

The nice thing about running out of materials as a traditional media artist is how it forces you to break your habits and approach art in new ways. Since Sharpie bleeds with Copic, I had to lay down the pink Copic ink first. The image emerged from my dying Copic with its varying saturations. The blossoms are inspired by the pattern in "My Favorite Dishes." 🌸
